Savings mortgage
A savings mortgage combines mortgage interest with linked savings accumulation.
A savings mortgage is an older Dutch mortgage type where savings are built up in a linked account or policy. The savings are intended to repay the mortgage at the end of the term. Existing savings mortgages can still be relevant when moving home or remortgaging.
