Cooling-off period
The statutory cooling-off period gives buyers a short time to cancel a home purchase.
After receiving the purchase agreement signed by both parties, a private buyer usually has a statutory three-day cooling-off period. This protects buyers from rushed decisions. Weekends and public holidays can affect the exact deadline.
